Does anyone out there use background noise, recordings, music, ect., ect., to set the mood for their gaming sesions. If so, what?
On this topic, I'm going to be creating a seiries of tavern recordings based on the 1001 one-liners overheard by the regulars downing ale at the local tav. I'll post when I either complete it or fail miserably so you don't have to wait for something that's not coming.

Now that my campaign's gone into an online AIM format, I set the mood by sending my players the music files I would have otherwise been playing on my laptop at a game table.

I also send my players text documents as primers that help to set the mood while also giving my PCs information.

I've often considered using music to help set the mood, but I don't have a convenient way to play music in my kitchen (which is where my group games the majority of the time). I also haven't had time to go through my music to see what I have that would be good mood music.

I did buy some fake teeth earlier this year....
Go ahead, throw the stone. Now watch it disappear.
