Hey everybody, whats going on?

I was curious as to everyone's favorite fantasy/sci-fi setting. It doesn't have to be an RP setting at all, or even specific. I'm interested to see if anyone has anything I haven't heard of, or if someone enjoy's a setting I find abhorent :P

Are you middle-earth/tolkien fan? Song of Fire and Ice? The Dark Tower? Warcraft? Forgotten Realms? Starwars?

If you could play in any setting that doesnt have an RP game, what would it be?

Truthfully, I'm a fan of all the above...

But lately I've been reading some Iain M. Banks books... the ones Culture related.
I'm simply loving the books... :)

I'd like to see a Garth Nix/Abhorsen setting though, that would be nice.

While, I'm a fan of Middle-Earth and Star Wars, I've been delving quite a bit inot cyberpunk, lately. I'd love to play in a classic Bladerunner / Serial Experiments Lain / Ghost in the Shell / Battlestar Galactica (in many ways) style setting. I love the philosophical themes presented and the sense of struggle integral to the genre. That and I'm a scifi geek. :dancingbanana:

Forgotten Realms / Middle Earth / Star Wars / Stargate (The original movie, not the series)... And now: Lost.

I'm a big Star Wars fan, although not as much as I was as a teen. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try the SWRPG. Ditto for The Wheel of Time.

An awesome gaming environment would be Michael A. Stackpole's Dragoncrown War Cycle. Fantastic books.
Go ahead, throw the stone. Now watch it disappear.

I'm a big fan of the Fallout series of games, and would enjoy to play an RP in one.

I have really begun to appreciate Warhammer, actually. And 40k.

Blade runner sounds like it would be fun, I have yet to try a true cyber-punk setting.

I've never played any Fallout games, so I suppose I'd be curious to see what they're like.

I'm surprised you've never tried cyberpunk. I suppose, if you're willing to venture away from d20, I could kick soemthing off for you, Red. I'm in the middle of working up a nice cyberpunk setting.

Without a doubt: Firefly. There's something so amazing about the 'verse that I can't resist. Next to that, Star Trek and Star Wars.
Also: Girl Genius.

I think that I prefer star wars and Harry Potter. It could be realy cool if there were Harry Potter RP.
