Something I'm borrowing from another site dedicated to worldbuilding. One thread is comment-free and another discussion thread is for talking about the world. I thought it might play Godzilla to the Mutation Bug. Hmm...I want to see that movie...

Well, if its anything like Godzilla v. Bambi, it should prove entertaining at least (not even joking, someone made a short - emphasis on short - movie about that).

I've seen the short. I've watched godzilla movies (that was a short at the beginnign of one) for as long as I can remember. 
Feline Reaper? Hmm...there's a really creepy story about somethign like that. There was a woman who lived in an old house in a small town, and she was known for hating cats. Well, one day, a cat wandered into her yard and she kicked it. It licked its wounds and carefully walked off the grass, glancign back occasionally. That night, the neighbors say they were awakened to the howl of hundreds of cats walking counterclockwise around the woman's house, but by morning, there was no trace that they had ever been there. There was also no trace that the old woman had ever been there, either.
I wish I could remember who wrote the short story. It was someone like EA Poe or Lovecraft, but neither of them, I'm pretty certain. Maybe Hawthorn? I know he wrote a couple rather creepy stories.
