So....More plot ideas! Please! Or expand on the ones we have...

One thing I was thinking was that perhaps a twist on the SU2 thing, perhaps that is a branch of a larger organization that only its higherups know about. The SU2s are actaully a coverup arm that, while they think they are trying to keep the population safe from magical weirdness, they are just exterminating and/or testing magical experiments by the main organization.
This technique of RPG playing has been passed down the Bloodmooon line for generations!

Nice.

If you do that, make sure that you interweave different branches of their organization so they can eventually unravel what's really going on.

But in the meantime, maybe their boss is the Feline Reaper :D

Hahaha! I still need to introduce them to the organization, though. I have a secret weapon for getting the group to join it, though. Rika and I are collaborating, and as she's playing, and all, we have some control over the plot that we normally don't get in dnd games.

Well, the group is in a town called Dunwick (shaddap about lovecraft), and I plan on there being a murder or two during their stay. It shouldn't take much prodding to get them to investigate if only because Rika is all about the idea of checking out a murder. During their investigations, they'll keep seeing an NPC no one in town knows lurking aroudn teh scene just after the murders. They'll likely pursue him (see, axel, i'm just reversing your idea. Mrs. White is the obvious one and the fish will be the unexpected twist). That NPC will be an agent of the organization investigating the murders and upon the successful completion of the adventure, they'll be offered the opportunity to join.

Cool, cool. Sounds like you've got a nice roll going.

Now what about the mechanical grits of your campaign (which I'm going to continue calling Grimmworld until you give me something better)? Things like races, classes, the like.

lol...this is a freeform game. There are no classes or anything. Rika is insiting that anything race-wise can go, and I think her PC has cat ears. She's japanese. I think even she has a pair of cat ears...even if they are attached to a headband. So really, I'm just leaving it open for now. She's a catgirl witch, someone else is a normal human thief. The rest haven't posted anything yet. I'm going with my traditional human somethingorother.

The same way it is normally done in freeform RP. Fudge it. Make it fit the plot.

That's the spirit everyone else is going for. I might secretly stat everyoen out when they're not looking. But in the meantime, it's freeform. I'm curious to see how it goes, to be honest. On the up side, I don't think I can get in trouble for any of my usual weirdness like I have on some other forums, as the moderator is one of the players...
