I had been hoping it was a really bad and really late april fool's joke.
But, it's not.
2 magazines that have been out so entrenched into D&D society since longer than I have been alive are publishing their last issues.
To be replaced by an online "ezine"

Just heard this one myself. I don't see me doing an online subscription thing unless it's really beneficial. Which means that it'll have to be cheaper than buying dungeon and dragon every month.

No joke. By a *lot* if they're planning on keeping any business from people that actually prefer being able to go into a physical store to physically buy something they can physically manipulate and physically bring with them to sessions.

The message boards at WotC and Paizo are lit with fire of this.
I rolled the remainder of both my subscriptions into Pathfinder.
I don't share the animosity towards WotC as others do, but I do think they (WotC) have handled the situation very poorly. However, it wil be very interesting to see how things turn out.
