Song & Silence
The Rogue and Bard suppliment.
Pathetic artwork
Little content
The content sucks
Prestige classes suck
Feats suck
Over priced
Could be (and may have been) created in approximately 3 days (including publishing & distribution)
And lastly, it is to this day, the LAST suppliment I actually spent money on.
Other than the above, they did a good job on the Table of Contents and the Index. But that could be because it was only like 30 pages long.

Song and Silence

yeah, it sucked. There was some good stuff, but what the hell was the Explorer PrC, in there for?

In 2nd ed. it was in the rangers supplement.

Everything for 3rd edition. Trust me, just spend your money on WoT or d20 Modern. Or do your own conversion of AD&D to d20. You can't possibly do worse than WotC did.

Hmm... For me it's a throw-up between Mythic Races, modules, and WoTC's Cleric & Paladin supplement (I can't remember the name. Books are packed while I move).

Of the entire hardcover book that is Mythic Races, only two or three might be useful. The artwork is hideous, the paper quality is horrid. But atleast they got the spelling right, mostly.

As far as I have seen all the modules out there encourage roll-play over role-play. This is, IMO, the worst thing for an RP and therefore I hate them for their very existence.

WoTC's Cleric & Paladin Supplement (whose name I don't recall) is the most useless POS that I've had the unfortunate duty of spending $ on. Clerics and Paladins have always been important in my campaigns, so I had looked forward to the book. Unfortunately all the new stuff is almost completely useless. And look at the prestige classes! For most of them you can't even be an adventurer anymore! Just think of the Hospitaler! Completely pointless unless you plan on hanging out in med tents and hospitals the whole time. It was also filled with numerous typos which were very distracting. You'd think they'd atleast have run it through a spellchecker and a grammer checker before sending it to the publisher.

Now, in response to some other suggestions. My group greatly enjoyed the added flexibility provided by Song & Silence, and I've always been a fan of psionics. I have of course made numerous modifications to the book, but then, I wouldn't be a DM if I hadn't altered the rules nearly beyond recognition. As for the others, I never picked them up.

I'd have to agree mythic races is pretty bad. about the worst thing FFG put out, I think. Anything by Fast Forward Games goes tops on the list for me, their books just... suck.

It's crap like this that makes me want to ralph.

The worst supplement ever? That would go to the 40$ book on Name generation by Monte Cook. Oh my gosh. I didn't look through it, but seriously folks, a 40$ on name generation? Phone Books are free.

Even better than Phone Books is http://www.20000-names.com . It has names seperated by origin and sex. All you could really dream of, and unlike some of the custom names people make up, all of these sound like real names because they are!

I would keep it in the bathroom...

Not for light reading...you just never know when your going to run out of toilet paper.

I'm also not fond of the 3.0 Monster manual. Maybe it's something about needing 50 pages of errata to fix the book....

I'm just too poor, and lazy to buy the 3.5 version so I printed off the Eratta list, and I just refer to that...
