i used weasel for squirel
sheep might be as dogs but without the bite attack. I wonder if halfling hve ever had a riding sheep or Warsheep?

Thanks, but I should have mentioned somewhere that I actualy managed to stat out most of those critters. Perhaps they would make a good submission to the resource section....I even included a European swallow.

Just so you know, the adder's poison is described using my poison varient (yes, Rin, technically yours....), and many of the animals there are in the PHB and other books. I just made a single list of all the animals that lived in an area in which we were playing once. Made it easier to reference. Enjoy.

I knew someone would like it. At least no one has asked about grappling the sheep....By the way, anyone who has any suggestions for other animals, please post them. I know I will need a nice variety of animals for this new campaign (grr.....), so any kind of suggestions as to animals you would like to see stated out, just let me know.

You know, looking through your file, I started to think about how a *bunch* of these animals could show up on variant familiar lists. Imagine a mouse familiar for a Gnome Wizard or a weasel for the sly Human Sorcerer.
I'd like to see some writeups for making some of these into familiars and what the caster would get as their benefits.

That might be a possibility in time, but right now I am far moreconcerned with populating the world with animals. Heck, so far, we don't even have a wizard or sorcerer in the party.

I am curious as to what you can come up with for a giraffe. I don't remember reading about one anywhere. Or a groundhog. That would be interesting too.
