Does anyone have any stats for the following animals?

Cow
Goat
Hare
Hedgehog
Mouse
Rabbit
Sheep
Squirrel

I have successfully managed to approximate a large variety of birds thus far for my Bestiary of Things WotC Neglected to Include in Any of Their Literature, but I am starting to have problems even finding an approximation to use as a guide for these animals. Any suggestions or actual stat blocks would be greatly appreciated.

I... wow.

Cow= use the horse as a base. Int of 1, replace the hoof attack with a gore attack, increase Con by 4 (Cows are pretty hardy, man; that's why they use oxen, a close relative, for ye olde Oregon Trail). Decrease the Wisdom to whatever the minimum is (cows are also pretty oblivious).

Goat=See Sheep but add a mild gore attack and an extra HD.

Hare=Fractional HD animal. With no effective natural attacks.

Hedgehog=Ditto.

Rabbit=See Hare

Sheep= 1 HD Small or Medium animal with no effective natural attacks.

Squirrel = 60 HD paragon animal quasi-deity with 1,000,000 hp and a +30 vorpal bite. Or, for the less common version, a fractional HD animal with no effective natural attacks.

I'm almost afraid to ask, but why do you need these stats?

That, Axel, is one of those things we'd just be better off not knowing too much about. I can only imagine what vile things he needs stats for a goat for, and I'd like to keep it precisely that: imagine.

Thanks, Dthclaw. That will help a lot, I think. I'm afraid the only animals I am familiar with (unfortunately) are alligators, crocodiles, racoons, snakes, and oppossums. Guess where I live. That's right! The edge of the smurfin' Everglades. As to why I need stats for these, you might WotC the same thing about a smurfin' hippo, but that's in Sandstorm. And they have otters in Stormwrack. I just wanted to have the wildlife for my little corner of the world statted out, and as I have little experience with rabbits, sheep, goats (never seen one), or cattle, I needed some help. Thanks!

[EDIT]

I have seen armadillos, though, and there is a reason they are called Florda Speedbumps.

Never seen a goat?! Sheesh, you'd think you didn't live near farmland or anything ;)

My parents home (where I grew up) is right down the street from two farms, one cattle/ostriches and the other pigs. I know me farm critters... hell, some of the folks in my high school considered going cow-tipping a few times, sadly.

One wonders how an animal with 'no effective natural attacks' should actually survive, like the Hare, from predators...

Obviously, the Hedgehog can curl up into a ball (And granted it's not very protective considering that most predators can pick it still), but the Hare should get a bite attack, however small.

As for Sheep...

Wellllll , could give them a stampede attack - Run people over with a flock of sheep :D

Imagine the scene - the victim arrives in the afterlife of his choice and the guardian asks him "So how did you die?"
Victim *Mumble* sheep

Guardian - What was That?

Victim -*small voice* i was run over by sheep , ok

Guardian - starts laughing

scene fades as the vitim looks forward to an eternity of sheep death jokes :D

Its like the mouse in "The Green Mile" , it's too cute to kill and it just wont die

Uh, Lying? Have you ever seen a rabbit/hare that gets caught by a predator? They die, because they aren't able to fight back. The only thing the rabbit/hare has going for it for survival is twitchiness and the fact that they're fast lil' sumbitches. Unless, of course, you wanted to use the swarm template.

Now that would be even more humiliating to explain to the Guardian. "I was killed by a swarm of rabbits," he mumbles.

Quasi-deity squirrels... I guess someone forgot that along side mice, the squirrels are the most intelligent creature on this planet... The best laid plans of mice and men take a few squirrels to work it out... (Has fulfilled his random quote of the day quota) But the reason for the "liveability" of rabbits and such things is their amazing high dexterity, and monkish speed, and the supernatural ability of casting haste upon itself... Rabbits can claw by the way... (see A Common Rabbit hole) I'd say at most a rabbit can do 1HP of damage with a successful claw attack if he is good and hopping mad... (A double pun... eeee....) Oh!!! Let's not forget the beast that protects the Cave of Caerbanog...

Let's not forget what happened to Bohrs and a few other of Arthur's men... Many men went to that cave... but only five... no three... made it into it...

You could also treat he Hedgehog's defensive trick of curling into a ball like a Caltrop since they're both pretty similar in size and effect.

Thanks, Jimp. I just had a brilliant idea for a druid that uses hedgehogs as living mobile caltrops.

This may sound ignorant, but remember I live on the edge of a swamp, not near pastoral farms. Don't sheep have horns? And should a female sheep have different stats than a ram?

[EDIT]
On a sidenote, shouldn't we be more worried about Swarms of Squirrels? I fyou doubt me, read this.

no female sheep do not have horns... just the rams.... so female sheep should have one basic stat change: minus a gore attack.
