On the subject of healing, what about a healing syringe that is a weapon that causes negative damage?

Negative damage would just be healing, there's no such thing as negative damage, only positive which, oddly enough, decreases the HP of your opponent

yes, but currently, there is no weapon that heals instead of hurting, you could even get xp for healing as if you had been doing damage

only if you used it on an enemy, otherwise it would provide an easy method of healing that could be used more quickly and easily in combat. You could load them with poison as well.

I don't get it. How is a weapon that heals even considered a weapon? Why would you load it with poison if it should heal? Does it heal HP but do ability damage if it's poisoned? Why?

Why don't you make it at least something that is a blade on one side and some kinda healing staff on the other, and something really expensive...

I mean that you could make a weapon that could for example be used to heal damage if loaded with one type of ammo, so you could use it on yourself or a friend, but loaded with another kind of ammunition, it could poison the target. It was just an Idea

And an odd at that. With your example, that would mean that you could load a crossbow with this ammunition and shoot your ally in the head to heal him!

Aaaaah! Alright, I misunderstood that then. Oh well, that's not a bad idea... It's great, even... Just don't like it as a syringe, but... hmmm... what could that be? *ponders*

... Ammunition weapon, could be charged with elemental damage, poison, or healing...

As a ranged weapon, it could be anything: sling, bow... they already have different types of ammunition.

As a melee weapon... How about a sword with a canal in it, that can be loaded with special alchemical mixtures? It's kinda cool.

Either way, healing doesn't apply. You can always beat, slice or shoot someone to death, but not to life. If anything, it would be a syringe just like you said... But me, I just don't like the syringe - personal opinion.

But I definitely want a chargeable blade. That's cool...

it could be a wand, with slots in it, and if you put a particular crystal in the slot it does something

Actually, if you look in Masters of the Wild, you will find arrows whose entire purpose is to heal. They are arrow of (insert cure spell here) and they only heal damage, unless the intended target is undead.

I posted this previously, I don't know why it disappeared.

There is a crossbow in Arms and Equipment (I believe) that has two slots for holding wands, and allows the wielder to choose to either use the bolt, wand A, or wand B, all without having to change equipment. That's the closest I can think of to what you're trying to do here.

Unless you make some sort of custom enhancement where your weapon only deals positive energy damage (overriding anything else, including normal physical and getting no bonus damage from strength). The damage it would deal instead heals its target.

The only problem I would have with any weapon that could heal by damage is the fact that people will then no longer have to worry about healing potions or wands or even a friggin cleric. After a battle, a fighter could just take out his dagger of healing +1 and stab himself a few times to make the pain go away.
