The average age of my group is 20 and I'm the youngest.

My group is in their 20s and 30s, with the exception of my girlfriend's 16 year old son.
Rather than just looking for D&D players, you could also try looking for people who share common interests with gamers. People who enjoy fantasy books and movies, science fiction, and the like are often open to the idea of trying out a role-playing game.

That's the beauty of dnd, it spans all ages. Those noobs of single digit age all the way to the senior who'd rather use a checker board to set up dungeons rather than for the chips it was designed for.

check out your school library at lunch time - depending on the size of the school and where you are , the chance's would be fairly good that you would find a group of "geek's" playing a game
