The Order of Fafl (or, 'How I learned to Dismiss extraplanar tax-collectors')

While preparing the current campaign I'm hosting (evil campaign), I jumbled in several ideas I had over the years, one of which was an order of "Realm Defenders". A religious order specifically dealing with extraplanar incidents and breaches into the native plane.

Consequentially, it was obvious I would (heavilly) use the Abjuration magic school, with some support from the Divination school. That led to some other consequences, being that the Necromancy and Conjuration schools would become immediate adversaries, due to their nature and use of several 'Summon X' spells, the practice of such magic is shunned upon in my setting.

A arcane order devoted to planar defence, consisting of a small core of Diviners (Seekers) and Abjurers and martial arms (Defenders).
I went a step further... Fafl, God of Protection, a powerful Abjurer that rose up to the ranks of divinity, inheriting the planar protection portfolio.
So now I had to include clerics and some paladins, the paladins would be easy, discerning evil extraplanar outsiders, they would be Defenders, with some Seeker capabilities; the clerics would be support, obviously, so I toyed with the idea of Houses of Healing, the clerics providing such services at public temples.

So now I had a somewhat sketched solid structure of the Organization, a God in the Pantheon, and some 'character' to the world.

It provides some solid material to adverse conditions to my players, one of which is an evil cleric on his path to domination(through Necromancy). Although it does not interfere with the others, due to the fact that while it (the order) is protecting from the external threats, the internal threats are taken care by other sect, be it town guards (which they have 'thoroughly' met), Alanir paladins (Alanir being the goody-two-shoes God of Order), or any other random(Noble Houses, Bounty Hunters, Assassin's Guild, etc.).

That said, I'm stuck with them, I definitely want to deepen this order, and maybe make, in the future, a campaign based on them, or, perhaps, I might just include them more deeply on this one(who knows, they (read: players) might want to steal something from them). However, I'm a bit dry on ideas.
